I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The Art Director will work closely with the Design Director to create materials that properly bring to life all the brands in the Dotdash Meredith Lifestyle Group including Better Homes & Gardens, REAL SIMPLE, AllRecipes, Magnolia Journal, Southern Living, Midwest Living, Dotdash Meredith Travel Marketing, D2C and SIM's.
Requirements
- BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years previous experience in a creative department, agency or publishing house with print and production skills
- Solid typographic/layout design skills with attention to detail
- Strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Powerpoint and Google Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members
- Efficient time management and organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
II. Essential Job Functions
- Develop, design and support the Design Director in the creation of advertising/marketing assets including presentations, sell sheets, print ads, digital ads, event collateral, micro-sites, e-blasts, mockups, etc.
- Collaborate with project managers and work on multiple projects simultaneously, keeping creative files organized and accessible to the wider team
- Apply expertise in creativity and organization to work quickly and efficiently, meeting deadlines and ensuring deliverables are in line with expectations.

Education:
- BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience

Pay Range
Salary: $112,000 - $137,500
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
