JOB SUMMARY:
The Art Director will lead the visual aspects of advertising campaigns and branding initiatives. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent visual skills who can collaborate with other creatives and clients to produce compelling visual solutions.

Location:
Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, or Michigan. For individuals based in our Michigan and Illinois locations, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas and Colorado, this position will be fully remote.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop visual concepts in response to creative briefs
- Oversee design projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other creatives to produce cohesive campaigns
- Present design ideas and concepts to clients and senior management
- Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and client requirements
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure quality outputs
- Conduct research and brainstorming sessions for new ideas
- Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by team members
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and client expectations
- Work closely with account managers to understand client needs
- Provide creative input during strategy and planning sessions
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and freelancers
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a creative team
- Strong understanding of visual aesthetics and branding principles
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $65,000 to $85,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
