Location: London, Ontario & Surrounding area
Term: Full Time - Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the asphalt spreader daily as needed on all types of highways, municipal, commercial and industrial projects
• Responsible for upkeep of tools, equipment and work area.
• Attend daily and weekly safety tailgates and inspections.
• Comply and enforce company's environmental, health and safety policies as well as company's Code of Business Conduct
• Perform other duties on the asphalt crew as assigned by the foreman

Requirements:

• High school or college diploma in a related discipline
• Flexible to work for extended time periods, shift work, overtime and on weekends
• Have mechanical knowledge and experience for maintenance
• Valid G class driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to make timely, yet effective decisions
• Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting experience
• Maintain good housekeeping practices
• Able to work independently in a busy environment
• Must be physically fit and able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basic.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required
