- Work from operation sheets and books, blue prints, shop travelers, fly sheets, rework and repair directives, videosonic, computer generated and other written and verbal instructions.
- Assemble hardware maintaining close fits and tolerances and make adjustments to meet specifications.
- Solder, crimp and pot electrical components.
- Dry test and calibrate component assemblies and make adjustments to meet specifications.
- Test hardware to maintain requirements for pressure, static and dynamic calibrations, maximum flow, flight and other schedules, and/or integrated area systems.
- Test hardware under hot or cold fuel conditions.
- Make computations using specified handbook formulas, record data on test sheets and plot results on established curves.
- Check for and repair internal and external leaks of equipment and hardware.
- Use gaging such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, surface plates, checking fixtures, protractors, flow meters, manometers, recorders, torque wrenches, location, feeler, height, temperature, and pressure gages.
- Remove, inspect, change, parts or sub-assemblies to meet test requirements without removing hardware from the test rig.
- Refer unusual problems to appropriate level for resolution.
- Generate, maintain and follow materials pulls and assembly floor schedules. Move hardware and paperwork through to finish stores and maintain status records.
- Instruct one or two fellow employees in proper performance of duties.
- Receive, store, inventory, label, inspect, issue, disburse or ship parts, hardware, materials, gages, fixtures, tools, supplies, equipment, assemblies or bin stock. Process and match required paperwork.
- Insure gaging meets metrology control requirements.
- Make electrical inspections and check for resistance, voltage and continuity using equipment such as meggers, resistance bridge, ammeter, voltmeter and ohmmeter.
- Inspect and verify proper build-up of hardware, checking visual conditions, sequence of assembly, positioning and torque requirements. Perform procedural checks.
- Inspect and verify proper test and calibration requirements are met.
- Perform spin balance to meet specifications.
- Process hardware for shipment by assembling, disassembling, cleaning, safety cable and wiring, stamping, masking or painting. Mix cements and label containers.
- Obtain and order supplies, tooling, fixtures, gaging and hardware, using computer if necessary.
- Check operation sheets, books and blue prints for latest revision letters and changes.
- Monitor process for trends and out of control conditions. Identify questionable product and/or processes to appropriate level for resolution.
- Clean, visually inspect, verify serial and set numbers, demagnetize, preserve and package hardware. Flush and purge hardware and fixtures.
- Keep equipment and surroundings neat and clean.
- Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
- 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 12 am - 6:30 am
- Training Schedule: Mandatory training will take place on 1st shift until management deems the employee is able to work independently and unsupervised. At that time, the employee will move to 3rd shift. We anticipate the training to be up to 2 months.

- 1-2 years of related experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Experience with arithmetic involving decimals and fractions.
- Experience with measuring equipment such as micrometers and ohmmeters.
- Experience with basic hand tools, specifically torque wrenches.
- Experience reading blueprints or electronic manuals.
