Assembly Mechanic / MIG Welder

Shift / Hours:Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Weld and drill truck frames to bolt accessories and special mounts to chassis • Measure and relocate components, such as battery boxes and taillights • Assemble and install mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies • Assemble and install hydraulic lines, fittings, and hoses • Run electrical harnesses into truck cabs and make electrical connections to truck chassis • Assist in the installation and removal of lift-gates Job Requirements: • Exceptional mechanical skills with working knowledge of common tools and equipment used in the mechanic field • Experience with 12volt automotive wiring (e.g., wiring relays, running heavy gauge battery cables, etc.) • Ability read a tape measure and convert fractions to the decimal equivalents • Welding certification considered a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Referral program • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Are you currently employed? • What is your expected hourly pay rate for this position?
