THE JOB:

As a Ticket Office Assistant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Ticketing Department, ensuring efficiency and seamless service. In this role, you will be a key part of shaping the guest experience, greeting them with a welcoming smile and exceptional service. By understanding their individual needs and stories, you’ll take ownership of their experience, creating unforgettable WOW moments that extend beyond their time with us. Additionally, you will lead and mentor the ticketing team, ensuring that service standards are consistently met or exceeded.


STARTING RATE: $27.75 an hour


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • HR and Administrative Support: Assist the Manager with overseeing Human Resources and administrative duties for the Ticketing Department, promoting teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; maintain employee records and payroll information.

  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth and efficient Ticket Office operations, maintaining strong communication with all hotel departments to resolve guest service issues or equipment malfunctions.

  • Staff Training and Service Standards: Train and ensure all ticket office team members meet or exceed service standards.

  • External Partnerships: Liaise with Ticketmaster, promoters, executives, and other company venues and resorts to maintain effective communication and coordination.

  • Staff Development: Develop and mentor supervisory staff and hourly employees, ensuring they understand and achieve departmental standards and goals.

  • Event Coordination and Ticket Management: Coordinate event creation, inventory, and ticket allotments with external parties such as Casino Marketing, executives, and promoters; manage ticket blocks with wholesalers.

  • Reporting and Inventory Management: Prepare ticket reports and manage ticket inventory to maximize availability for all events.

  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintain department-specific forms, documents, and spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Adaptability to Pace Changes: Manage transitions between high-energy, guest-focused showtimes, balancing heavy guest traffic and front-of-house activity with slower-paced pre- and post-show preparation and clean-up, ensuring efficiency and readiness during all phases.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as requested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience.

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in a ticket office or similar role, with a strong understanding of ticketing operations.

  • Availability: Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Leadership and Coaching Ability: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and provide clear, constructive feedback to team members for continuous improvement.

  • Supervisory Experience: Previous management or supervisory experience, with a proven ability to lead and support a team.

  • Ticketing Platform Expertise: Experience with ticketing platforms such as Ticketmaster or similar systems.

  • Customer Service Skills: Strong background in customer service, with the ability to effectively handle guest inquiries and resolve issues.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in ticketing processes, reports, and event coordination.
