Description:

Reporting to the Operations Touring Manager, the Assistant Operations Touring Manager assists with the planning and installation of its Touring Experiences. Main duties include but are not limited to: managing installation of experiences in new markets, assisting with permitting and compliance needs for each new location, site load-in and load-out for the operations of the experience, assisting with managing existing vendor and partner relationships, troubleshooting of operational issues, and working closely with the inter-departmental teams to ensure the best result. This position requires the candidate to travel, as needed, to touring properties both nationally and internationally, as well as work remotely from a home office. The salary for this position is $58.500. 

Primary Responsibilities – Set-Up/Build/Tear-Down/Load-Out Phase

  • Assist with managing relationships with real estate brokers, property developers, production vendors and partners
  • Work with local property management teams to ensure proper setup of experience locations
  • Verify experience is up to code on inspections or built-out per architectural/engineering drawings; this includes, but is not limited to: egress signage, fire extinguishers, etc.
  • Assist in facilitating walkthroughs with city officials to ensure experience is compliant, adhering to permitting requirements and regulations, and is legally allowed to open and operate
  • Assist with managing and facilitating trucking and heavy equipment needs; ensure the efficient and effective movement of materials, equipment, and supplies from the point of origin to its destination
  • Oversee on-site workback schedule and ensure operational build is on schedule and all movements/installs are accounted for
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to ensure build is on schedule and all team members are following on-site best practices
  • Ability to use power tools and handle minor installs
  • Travel alongside the project to bring Superfly X Touring Properties to various markets
  • Assist with the setup and operation of security monitoring systems for multiple locations
  • Support Superfly X in achieving its financial, guest experience, and team member goals
  • Communicate the SFX vision and identify opportunities to reduce expenses and create efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities for employees to gain additional responsibilities and develop leadership skills
  • Empower employees to make decisions and learn from mistakes
  • Additional tasks, as needed

Primary Responsibilities – Experience Operations Phase

  • Troubleshoot any operational issues that can not be resolved by site management team; collaborate with necessary departments or parties (i.e., landlord) to resolve swiftly and effectively
  • Set-up and oversee site inventory sheets to verify proper items are in-stock for daily operation
  • Set-up and oversee technical/maintenance issue tracker; make sure necessary departments are aware of all issues
  • Provide direction and guidance to site team, as needed
  • Identify opportunities for employees to gain additional responsibilities and develop leadership skills
  • Empower employees to make decisions and learn from mistakes
  • Additional tasks, as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
  • Minimum 1+ years experience working in an operational environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Resourceful and detail-oriented fast learner with excellent time management, prioritization and communication skills as a collaborative team member, especially when working with cross-functional teams executing complex work in the face of tight deadlines
  • Multitasking and prioritizing with ease in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools required
  • Existing understanding of trucking/logistics booking and operations and basic internet installation language
  • Reliable internet access and ability to work independently from a home office environment when not at touring properties
  • Ability to travel up to 50%+ of the time - domestic and internationally as needed
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
