Castle Development Group is seeking a detail-driven Project Engineer to support our growing portfolio of commercial construction projects. In this role, you’ll assist in managing healthcare and office developments from preconstruction through closeout—with a strong focus on scheduling, Microsoft Project, and coordination. Key Responsibilities • Assist with project execution from bidding and preconstruction through project turnover • Develop and maintain detailed schedules in Microsoft Project; track critical path and milestone dates • Manage submittals, RFIs, permits, and change orders in collaboration with project managers • Coordinate with superintendents, vendors, architects, and engineers to maintain alignment and momentum • Help develop and track budgets, procurement logs, and cost updates • Participate in site walks, quality checks, and punch list resolution • Ensure project files, documentation, and logs are accurate and up to date • Support effective communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners • Address project issues and help keep workflows efficient and solutions-focused • Perform other duties as needed to support successful project delivery Requirements • 2–4 years of experience in commercial construction or development support; medical project experience a plus • Strong command of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Familiarity with construction workflows including budgeting, permitting, and document control • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Viewpoint • Understanding of construction documents, architectural drawings, and specifications • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Perks & Benefits At Castle Development Group, we believe in rewarding great work and investing in our people.
