RCS Staffinghas an immediate need for anAssistant Project ManagerinPhoenix, AZ. This is aFull-Time, Direct Hire, Hybridopportunity. Overview of YOUR role as an Electrical Engineer: You will assist in the planning, execution, and closing of various construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. As an Assistant Project Manager YOU will: • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets. • Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. • Ensure project requirements and specifications are clearly defined and communicated to all team members. • Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for project execution. • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services manage project resources to optimize efficiency and productivity. • Assist in the implementation of quality control procedures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations. • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from project plans. • Collaborate with project team members to develop and implement corrective actions as needed. • Support the implementation of safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards. • Assist in the investigation of incidents or accidents and the implementation of preventive measures. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and daily reports. • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues. • Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation including as-built drawings, warranties, and final reports. YOU are the ideal Assistant Project Manager if you have: • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. • 2-5 years of experience in construction management or the electrical space. • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in project management software and tools • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., OSHA, NEC). • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus. About Our Client: Our Client is a collaborative design firm comprised of project managers, civil engineers, hydrologists, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors. Their diverse utility portfolio includes utility scale solar, substation design, and overhead/underground electrical design. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
