About You

We are looking for a passionate and strategic marketer who can work autonomously to drive client success across cross-functional teams. The Associate Account Manager will be a key member of the team, serving as an advocate for our clients and our internal team to continually ensure that top-quality work is being delivered to our clients. In this pivotal role, you'll be a proactive problem solver focused on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations. You have the ability to swiftly build trust and have a strong history of building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Help manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of clients, owning some projects and supporting others.
    • Assist with managing client expectations and providing clients with excellent service and support.
    • Build and manage client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and translate them to the internal team.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, including advertising strategy/execution, creative asset development, website redesigns, and development.
    • Utilize project management software and tools to track project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Schedule client meetings, manage client requests, enter tasks and projects into Asana, and provide support to the Client Services team.
    • Create agendas and keep notes for internal and client meetings.
    • Track project deliverables and deadlines.
    • Interface with the client and help translate what is needed to the rest of the team.
    • Work closely with the Client Services team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure alignment and effective delivery of projects.
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Develop, implement, and manage projects related to digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media, display advertising). 
    • Work with the team to monitor and optimize advertising performance, ensuring campaigns meet client goals and KPIs.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital advertising.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including strategists, channel experts, designers, developers, and other marketing specialists to deliver exceptional results.
    • Understand ROI’s offerings and how they fit into each client’s portfolio.
    • Identify potential growth opportunities and communicate them to Senior Staff. 
    • Provide feedback and insights to improve project outcomes and drive client success.
  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Track and report key account metrics such as timeline health in relation to revenue forecast and risk, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Prepare and present project status reports, proposals, and other documentation as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce escalation points between ROI·DNA and clients.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure that ROI·DNA remains at the forefront of digital marketing and web development.

What You'll Bring:

  • 1-3 years of account management, client management, or related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of or quick ability to learn digital marketing concepts
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an agency environment
  • Client-facing experience and digital marketing experience are a must. Experience in at least two of the following: digital advertising, SEO, analytics, UX/creative and web development
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at higher levels of the organization
  • Practical and working understanding of Drupal and Wordpress CMS admin UI is a plus
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital advertising tools is a plus
  • Ability to work through difficult situations under pressure
  • Excellent time management and project coordination skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-directed with confidence
  • Strong attention and dedication to ensuring high-quality standards are met
  • Must possess the skill to think and pivot fast on your feet as well as a solid combination of tenacity and empathy
  • Feel comfortable engaging and leading client conversations
  • Strong, clear communication – both written and verbal

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55K-$70K per year. Salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, alignment with market data, as well as internal and external equity.
