Associate Accountant

Financial Additionshas a great 4-6 month contract opportunity for a staff accountant. This is an onsite position in north Dallas. Ideal position for an accountant between jobs - company may also consider recent accounting graduates with an internship. Responsibilites include: • Account reconciliations and provide analysis on outstanding items • Prepare journal entries • Post invoices based upon contract terms • Assist with quarterly and year-end audit process • Support other departments as needed Qualifications include: • 1 -3 years in staff accountant role or similar position (ex. accounting assistant, associate accountant, junior accountant) • Journal entry prep and posting • Tech savvy including good Excel skills (intermediate-level) • Knowledge/usage of ERP system a plus • Experience in account, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance #INDD
