The Associate Business Analyst will collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which solutions are developed. In addition, the Business Analyst will analyze and prioritize business customer needs, and will use proprietary software to produce working solutions for business customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Capture, analyze, and document business requirements and translate into system functionality including designing and configuring workflows
• Analyze and interpret engineering documentation and translate into system requirements
• Interact with client and project team members during all phases of system development
• Coordinate with the development team and customer to ensure on-time project completion
• Identify issues and recommend solutions
• Maintain updated applications documentation and training material
• Participate, lead, and/or coordinate end-user training
• Assist in preparation of the testing strategy and test plans; guide user acceptance testing
• Assists in testing efforts to ensure issues are identified and solution matches requirements
Required Skills
• High School Diploma or GED (General Educational Development) Equivalent
• 2-3 years relevant experience with exposure to software support and system documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others
• Excellent written/verbal skills with demonstrated ability to present articulate and compelling proposals to a non-technical audience
• Familiarity with state machine workflow diagrams
• Focus on problem solving / solution development
• Self-motivated and resourceful
• Active listener • Experience with testing tools and end-user training
• SQL and Python skills a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
