We are looking for a talented Associate Counsel to join our team specializing in Legal for our CUMMINS in San Luis Potosí, SLP, México .

Job Description:

Responsible for handling a variety of legal matters or projects across a wide range of business, functions and subject matters appropriate to their level of capability and experience. Performs more complex legal work under supervision of more senior level counsel.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Will be responsible for Corporate Matters
• Ensure legal compliance in several areas mainly labor, environmental, trade compliance, data privacy.
• Commercial and Distribution Agreements.
• May assists more experienced attorneys in complex legal questions and projects that have broad reaching implications for the organization if the situation arises.
• Reviews standard documents and contracts, and prepares filings.
• Provides support or contributes to overall objectives and goals of organization.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• English profency
• Desired experience as in-house lawyer.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

University degree in law is required.

License to practice law in home jurisdiction

A master's degree in Corporate Law is desired

Experience:

At least 10 years of experience.
