Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Color Designer to join Vuori Design team! This individual will have the opportunity to bring a fresh perspective on print and color, while being responsible for supporting process. To be effective in this role, the individual must be proactive, work well in a fast-paced environment, adapt easily to change, have an eye for elevated design, and have a basic understanding of Vuori aesthetics. We are looking for someone who is passionate about performance apparel, Vuori’s mission and will embody the brand’s values. Qualifications

What you'll get to do:

  • Support in executing seasonal color and print strategies, focusing on implementation and detailed execution.Ā 
  • Conduct preliminary market research and trend analysis, contributing to the development of color palettes under the guidance of higher-level team members.Ā 
  • Maintain and organize digital color and print libraries, ensuring tools and samples are readily accessible.Ā 
  • Create & Maintain Tools. Keep color tools well-organized for the design department and assist in creating and updating Merch Guides.Ā 
  • Support in setting up color and print representation and creation of design boards for department presentations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Color Development team to ensure accurate color matching and alignment with timelines and deliverables.Ā 
  • Facilitate clear communication with cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of color-related developments.Ā 
  • Support in the execution of color match inspiration, build chip cards by fabrication, matching standards, and name seasonal colors.Ā 

Who you are:

  • 3+ years design experience
  • Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of textiles, artwork techniques, and fabric.
  • Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • PLM experience preferred but not required.Ā 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Ā 
  • Positive, passionate, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency.Ā 
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The salary range for this role is $70,000 per year - $80,000 per year.
