Brief Job Description:

The Associate Designer, PCB Layout Engineering is responsible for the Layout and Design of PCBs used for final test and wafer sort testing, customer evaluation and bench lab boards. You will be working with a diverse group of dedicated professionals under Global Hardware Development and part of Global Operations and Technology's Test Technology & Systems organization. He/she will be working closely with test and applications engineers in developing hardware solutions for business units and factories across ADI. This is an entry-level position intended for new college graduates and engineers with 1 to 3 years of PCB design/layout experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in basic electronics, circuit analysis, transmission line principles and signal integrity
• Experience with Cadence CAD tools (Design Entry HDL, System Capture, Allegro, etc.) is an advantage
• Knowledge on IPC PCB Standards is an advantage
• Familiarity of PCB fabrication and assembly process is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The wage range for a new hire into this position is $74,002 to $105,311.

• Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.
