Associate Director, Distribution Strategy and Operations

The Associate Director of Distribution Strategy and Operations will take on a broad set of responsibilities across Everquote distribution operations. Utilizing a broad skill set including analytics skills, modeling and business strategy, and project management you will be focused on our most important and impactful areas of opportunity. 

Initial responsibility will be focused on taking ownership of our Agency Tech and Tooling. However, you will also be tasked with developing our QA and Coaching processes, creating reporting and data connectivity across new or changing tools in coordination with Product and Analytics teams. Supporting strategic planning cycles and sizing various projects and plans to determine prioritization. Providing a tight ongoing critical view of our distribution businesses to identify opportunities and work towards effective solutions to improve our operational efficiency.

In this role you will own:

Agency Tech and Tooling:

• Support and improve the tooling for our Agency Sales and CS teams currently using Salesforce and AWS Connect as the primary CRM and telephony platforms
• Directly managing our Salesforce technical admin

Quality Assurance Program Management: 

• Develop and implement consistent Quality Assurance and Coaching processes that are aligned across all distribution teams
• Work with sales leaders across Agency Sales, CS and Warm Transfer teams to create a standardized and effective results-oriented Quality Assurance and Coaching program

Data Quality and Accessibility: 

• Triage and work with Product teams to ensure data connectivity from new or changing products, carrier systems, etc. 
• Creating and maintaining MVP solutions as needed to ensure data consistency over interim periods while working towards stable solutions with Product and Analytics teams

Strategic Planning and Business Intelligence:

• Develop a deep understanding of Everquote’s distribution business models to provide strategic insights and influence leadership decisions
• Work closely with the Finance and Distribution leadership to execute on operational planning deliverables including model creation, lift sizing, and scenario planning

Operational Insights and Implementation:

• Use analytical skills to help identify, investigate, and design implementation of operational improvements
• Use operational know-how to align and coordinate implementation steps with distribution leaders

Additional Support Areas:

• Workforce Management: Support our WFM team helping to improve their reporting and data management practices to create efficiencies and reduce errors
• Incentive Compensation: Work with Finance and Sales Leadership to ensure incentive compensation plans are properly aligning company and individual employees towards shared success

We’re excited about you if you have: 

• 5+ years of proven analytical and project management experience
• Proficient with analytical tools (SQL, Excel, Snowflake) and quantitative analysis; you can deep dive into large data sets, draw meaningful insights, dissect business issues, draw actionable conclusions, and implement scalable solutions
• Demonstrated critical thinking and structured problem solving abilities; identifying and hypothesis testing potential high growth levers to drive revenue and other key business results
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• You thrive in a fluid and dynamic fast-paced environment, and embrace ambiguity
• You have a meticulous attention to detail and have delivered results while juggling multiple projects
