Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and execution of marketing and product strategies to achieve or exceed the business unit objectives of innovation and Growth for the Platform portfolio. This will include analyzing market and customer information, identifying new product innovations, optimizing product portfolio, launching new products and line extensions, pricing strategies and guidelines, etc.
- Support the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process as a core team member. Accountable for completion of respective marketing deliverables to ensure commercial excellence through collaborative efforts with all levels of other functional areas (e.g., R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc.). Use fact-based data to inform key decisions, driving timely decision-making even in the face of incomplete information.
- Develop a global marketing and related launch plan for the assigned product platform that defines "how to win," including market development, evidence generation, marketing communications, pricing strategies, promotional strategies, and customer-facing associate training.
- Utilize and activate principles of segmentation, targeting and value proposition development. Develop content and strategies for promotional materials and programs including sales aids, advertising, digital campaigns, and external events, working with the Omnichannel Marketing team.
- Effectively partner with global marketing across business platforms, business platform leaders, Comm Dev, sales, regional and segment marketing and other functions to execute the Marketing Plan in line with business performance, vision, strategy and goals.
- Provide adequate and appropriate training and direction to sales and regional marketing. Inform customer targeting strategy for the product platform and actively participates in customer-facing activities, as needed, to accelerate customer capture.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

- Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills; proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and actionable plans.
- Experience using internal phase-gate product development processes and market research and segmentation methodology preferred.
- Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive and detailed marketing plans.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Proven ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.
- Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills, and can work internationally with diverse cultures.
- Negotiates and engages fearlessly in constructive challenge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Technical Discipline; MBA highly preferred
- 7-10 years' experience in a marketing, strategy or related function within healthcare, medical device and/or related industry.
- Pharmaceutical industry and/or medical device experience preferred.
