Job Description
As an Associate Director on the Performance Marketing team, you will be an integral part of the growth and success of the Dotdash Meredith organization. We are seeking an experienced digital marketer to drive revenue growth for our Finance vertical. Key categories include Brokerage, Banking, Mortgage, Insurance, & Personal Loans.
The right candidate for this role will have a strong account management and digital marketing background. You will apply an analytical mindset and remain solutions-oriented while assisting top clients in the Finance vertical to achieve their advertising goals. You will also be comfortable working across the full digital customer acquisition funnel to drive revenue for Dotdash Meredith You are adept at working cross-functionally to influence roadmaps, including both the analytical rigor to illustrate and advocate for your ideas, as well as the influential communication skills to bring people along and ensure buy-in across stakeholder groups- including senior leadership.
This role reports to the Vice President of Performance Marketing Revenue, who is focused on driving Performance Marketing revenue and managing our partnerships. This is a very exciting time to join Dotdash Meredith and the Performance Marketing team as we continue to grow and scale our business!
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with VP, Performance Marketing Revenue to drive revenue across the Finance vertical
- Support and develop a team of 1-2 Account Management partner strategists
- Help set the overall partnership & monetization strategy of the Performance Marketing business
- Partner with sales team on helping communicate the value of performance marketing campaigns to existing and prospective partners
- Communicate directly with clients and provide first-class service in reaching their campaign goals
- Diligently monitor campaigns, proactively identify areas of opportunity or risk, and resolve potential discrepancies
- Develop and grow strategic partnership revenue with key brand/supplier partners
- Liaise with Performance Marketing Product & Editorial teams in ensuring consumer experiences deliver on client goals
- Work within and utilize media planning tools & ad serving platforms (DFP, MediaAlpha) to drive key insights and strategies
About You:
- 6+ years of experience in a Digital Publishing, Digital Media and/or Agency setting
- Experience in Performance Marketing and/or Affiliate Marketing a major asset
- Ability to develop cooperative working relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders
- Experience developing talent at the more junior levels
- Ability to opportunity size business/revenue impact easily in order to understand relative impact and prioritize accordingly
- Advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills; Google Docs proficiency a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization and database tools such as Looker, Google Analytics, Semrush
- Familiarity with ad serving platforms (DFP, MediaAlpha)
- Must be enthusiastic, friendly and work well under pressure

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. Pay Range
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future.
