The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. This role is based at PetSmart’s Phoenix Home Office, where associates currently enjoy the benefits of in-person collaboration while having the flexibility to work remotely one day per week (a “flex workday” with leader approval), and an expected four days in the office. About the Job TheAssociate Marketing Managerwill be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactic level plans to drive marketing at PetSmart for services and help support an exceptional in-store experience. The Associate Marketing Manager should understand strategic marketing, project management and customer experience stewardship, combining business insights with multi-touch marketing plans to drive results. The successful candidate will be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect with peers, cross-functional partners, and management. He/she will be detail-oriented and proactive, with a passion for results. • Lead marketing programs from inception through implementation while ensuring alignment with company strategies and standards through cross-functional partnership and collaboration • Use a customer lens along with knowledge of emerging marketing trends, to build impactful and efficient marketing plans to drive the business • Partner cross-functionally to execute against business priorities for Planned Initiatives and Run the Business level programs. These could include campaigns, promotions, coupon books. partnership with other channel partners (CRM, Media, Loyalty) and more! • Develop and gain alignment on marketing plans, write creative briefs, track project progress, and ensure on time/budget execution • Update internal partners & marketing leadership on the results from various initiatives, including key measurements, learnings, and next steps • Manage forecast, tracking and accuracy of assigned budget line items • Act as ambassador for Integrated Marketing in communicating strategies, tactics and results cross functionally as appropriate • Provide influential communications to gain alignment on plans that will drive the business with flexibility to pivot when warranted • Other duties as assigned such as project trafficking, coupon entry, signage requests, print orders production management etc. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years related experience in marketing, communications, brand or customer experience • Must have the ability to simultaneously manage many projects and priorities with varying timelines • High level of productivity and efficiency with strong attention to detail • Highly organized, collaborative work style and strong project management skills are essential • Requires the ability to analyze data, develop new ideas and test new programs to drive sales • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft software applications About the Culture At PetSmart, we work hard to create a culture where every associate feels like they truly belong and we celebrate the unique stories, backgrounds, and experiences our associates share.
