Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Associate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in surgical skill, patient care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This position offers exposure to a broad scope of procedures, with a primary emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery and selective involvement in orthognathic cases. The role provides an exceptional opportunity for a surgeon seeking to refine clinical expertise while contributing to the advancement of the practice.

Clinical Scope:

  • Comprehensive dentoalveolar procedures, including third molar management, complex extractions, alveoloplasty, and pre-prosthetic surgery
  • Implant surgery, ridge preservation, and advanced bone grafting techniques
  • Participation in orthognathic surgery cases, with the opportunity to expand into other surgical domains based on training, interest, and practice needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered surgical care in alignment with the highest clinical standards
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure appropriate perioperative and postoperative management
  • Collaborate effectively with referring providers to optimize treatment planning and patient outcomes
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to lifelong learning and clinical excellence
  • Contribute to the overall mission, growth, and reputation of the practice

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental institution
  • Successful completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
  • Board certification or active board eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) and anesthesia permit
  • Strong foundation in surgical principles, critical thinking, and patient safety protocols
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and referring providers
