Job Summary:
1. This job assists in maintaining an effective and comprehensive system-wide compliance and privacy program, including auditing, monitoring, investigations, education, regulatory compliance, privacy, and reporting.
2. This job leads strategic projects leveraging project management, change management, and process improvement core capabilities; manages individual projects through entire project lifecycle with accountability for project progress and success; assumes responsibility for developing communications strategy with responsibility for active communication with key stakeholders and the department; and serves as instructor and coach for organizational leaders through departmental training programs.
3. Performs compliance related research, conducts and documents interviews, completes action items associated with project plans.
4. Analyzes issues and presents oral and written conclusions to department and organization management.
5. Serves as resource to company employees and management in applying and improving compliance policies, procedures and processes.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, public health, health care administration or related field.

Preferred - Master's degree in engineering, business administration, finance, public health, health care administration or related field.

Work Experience
Required - 5 years of experience in relevant field such as healthcare operations, finance, industrial engineering, and/or organizational development including 1 year project management / change management / process improvement / healthcare experience;

OR

3 years relevant experience with a master's degree

Certifications

Preferred - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or equivalent (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt or Master Change Agent).

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to regularly perform work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to gather information, understand problems and seek out cause-and-effect relationships that identify underlying issues or problems.

  • Ability to travel regionally to various sites.

  • Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability for work.

Job Duties
  • Assists in maintaining an effective compliance program by ensuring that all performance, documentation, follow-up and organization is conducted in accordance with department standards.
  • Communicates with key stakeholders about projects to resolve issues and achieve desired corrective action.
  • Actively leads project efforts through entire project life cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
  • Conducts coaching/consulting engagements leveraging project management, change management, and process improvement core capabilities.

The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
