We are looking for an Associate Partnership Executive to join our Business Development team who has experience finding, nurturing and maintaining referral relationships. This person will own identification of target relationships, relationship building, and driving of Pattern pipeline with these audiences in the form of referrals. This is a full-time role reporting to the Head of Global Partnerships working out of our Lehi, UT office.

What is a day in the life of an Associate Strategic Partnerships Executive?
- Work closely with the business development, sales and marketing teams to identify priority target accounts and keep those top of mind
- Establish relationships with industry executives and other individuals, pitching Pattern's business model and value to ecommerce brands and properly onboarding them into the Pattern Referral Program
- Collaborate with these executives to identify Pattern business opportunities within their networks and audiences
- Manage day-to-day operations including collaboration on referral pipeline with account executives, payout of referral fees to executives, account target lists, and prioritization of executive relationships for the highest impact to Pattern
- Analyze and report on executive partnership initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
What will I need to thrive in this role?
- A bachelor's degree is required
- Ability to be introduced to target accounts through referral relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building strong professional relationships
- Given the focus on expanding the sales pipeline via referrals, individuals with a background in sales and business development is crucial
- Strong ability to adapt to different personalities and company cultures, as they'll be interacting with various executives, influencers, and other individuals
- 3+ years of directly relevant experience in sales, business development, and/or partnership management
- Proven track record of working to and exceeding sales and partnership sales quotas
- High-level communication skills and executive presence
- Strong attention to detail and a bias for action
- eCommerce experience is preferred, but not required

- You meet or exceed a quarterly quota of qualified sales opportunities sourced through the executive referral program
- You become a trusted partner and advisor to industry executives in helping their audiences and contacts achieve eCommerce acceleration
- You give 100% to all programs and projects in your care, taking full ownership of the Executive Partnerships program at Pattern

What is the team like?
- You will work closely with the in-region business development, sales and marketing teams while communicating globally with the other full-time alliances and partnerships team members. You will also be mentored by and report to the Head of Global Partnerships. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of the alliances, account executive, BDR, RevOps, and marketing teams to drive pipeline through executive referrals.

- Be prepared to demonstrate relevant experience in sales, business development or strategic partnerships. Sharing experience in working with executive-level interactions is a plus
- Having a proven track record exceeding targets related to sales and business development would stand out. This could include evidence of successful partnerships you've formed, sales pipeline you've built and/or revenue you've generated
- Having an impressive network of contacts within the related industry, particularly with executives and influencers, would allow you to hit the ground running
