Job Description

CWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Audit Quality Director to oversee our firm's adherence to the AICPA's new quality management standards. This role involves managing the technical review of audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the implementation of new accounting pronouncements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, technical review, and project management, with a proven ability to lead teams and provide expert guidance on complex accounting issues.Duties and Responsibilities· Conduct technical reviews of audits and reviews to ensure compliance with GAAP· Manage the firm's adherence to AICPA's new quality management standards· Assist staff with research and application of GAAP in specific situations· Participate in strategic implementation teams for new accounting pronouncements · Provide project management and leadership for audit quality initiatives· Collaborate with the audit practice group to continuously improve audit quality· Provide review of work product and performance of entry - senior level staff· Assist partners and managers in consulting engagements· Present on webinars and other educational opportunities for clients and staff. Job Qualifications: · BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field· CPA Certification · 8+ years of current public accounting experience· 2+ years of current public accounting GAAP technical review experience· Strong technical knowledge of GAAP· Proficiency with computerized account software and MS Office· Strong client rapport and project management skills· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to focus on complex financial information· Experience with Yellowbook/Uniform Guidance Audits preferred Certification, Licenses, Registrations· CPA Certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: $145,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Flexible schedule • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Professional development assistance • Retirement plan • Tuition reimbursement Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
