Your role and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Automate testing workflows including test data creation reporting and defect management.
- Recommend and implement tools and processes to enhance test efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Required technical and professional expertise
- 6–12 months of experience in software testing and QA automation.
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and TestNG/JUnit.
- Experience in testing web applications and APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelinesJenkins and version control systems (e.g. Git GitHub).
- Exposure to tools like Jira for issue tracking.
- Ability to independently handle testing and debugging tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience with Gradle or Maven.
- API testing tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
- Working knowledge of Linux/MacOS environments.
- Use of Visual Studio Code as a development environment
