Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist youâll work closely with clients to develop relationships understand their needs earn their trust and show them how IBMâs industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Management and Value Definition : Effectively manage client relationships define IBMâs value proposition and engage key decision-makers.
- Sales Process Management and Collaboration : Oversee the entire sales process with a focus on expanding new business opportunities and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive Experience in SaaS Sales: Proven track record of selling SaaS solutions to C-level clients particularly in large accounts with deal sizes âŹ1M+.
- Entrepreneurial Background: Demonstrated entrepreneurial experience capable of driving new logo business independently.
- Sales Methodologies: Proficient in value-based selling and familiar with challenger sales and MEDD(P)ICC methodologies.
- Product Expertise: Experience with IpaaS and Data-Integration (preferred Webmethods and Streamsets) specifically positioning these technologies in large enterprises.
- Enterprise Data Integration: Deep know-how in exposing enterprise data (via API or B2B integration) to external stakeholders like partners customers and suppliers and communicating the business value of a truly connected enterprise.
- Language Skills: German at native level (C1/C2) and business fluent in English.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent with familiarity in internet technologies.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Strong team player with a collaborative working style
- Industry Knowledge (Optional): Understanding of banking and insurance (BFSI) customersâ business needs challenges and expectations.
