Position Description:

CGI is part of a team to support and modernize multiple case management solutions using agile DevSecOps teams at US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). We have built, maintained, and enhanced multiple solutions over the years for USCIS we have deployed to AWS. Our experienced teams are repeatedly called upon to address the latest challenges using new technology.

To support our teams, we need Automation Test Engineers that are able to learn new technologies and support behavior-driven development (BDD). We need people who not only know how to use the latest tools but who are able to take business requirements and decompose them into the required tests. This involves dissecting complex scenarios, working with other teams supporting other systems and collaborating closely with our own team to ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality software.

This role can be 100% remote.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Work closely with Business Analysts and subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate to software solutions and to fully understand the full scope and impact of each story to the test scenario.• Create and update automated test scripts based upon developed Agile stories using Selenium.• Create ad-hoc tests using SoapUI and other tools to work through new scenarios.• Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than 3) teams.• Design and execute performance tests that provide meaningful results to developers on areas of enhancement.• Work with teams to effectively design, build and deliver cloud-based solutions.• Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client's technical specialists.• Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.• 3+ years of development experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using DevSecOps, DevOps and AWS.• Expert skills in test automation tools. Experience with UFT One is preferred but will also consider candidates experienced with Selenium.• Experience working in an Agile environment.• Extensive automation framework development experience.• Experience in manual test script development and execution.• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.• Strong communication skills.

Desired qualifications:• Experience working with USCIS architecture, engineering and other organizations.• Experience with REST Assured, Serenity, TestCafe and/or Cucumber.• Knowledge of RESTful API-based applications.• Experience with JSON.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $76,700 - $99,800*

Therefore, this good faith salary range will only apply where this described position will be performed in the state, and should not be considered the compensation range in other locations or for other positions.
