What You’ll Do: • Lead all day-to-day accounting functions across multiple dealerships to ensure accuracy, consistency and complaince • Design and implement standardized accounting and reporting processes • Partner with ownership and GMs to improve operational efficiency and profitability • Lead month-end closings, financial reporting, and compliance procedures • Manage accounting staff and foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and accountability • Identify and fix inefficiencies — from process gaps to reporting bottlenecks • Support strategic decision-making with real-time, actionable financial insights • Ensure accounting tools and software are utilized properly by Operations • Champion a culture of accountability, integrity and appreciation What We’re Looking For: • Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record • 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with automotive retail accounting experience in a Controller or Assistant Controller (Business Manager) preferred • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills • Proven ability to bring organization to complex, multi-store operations • Hands-on leadership style — you're not afraid to get in the trenches • Deep understanding of dealership financials, DMS systems (ADP/CDK/Reynolds), and industry best practices • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset • A desire to make things better — and the drive to make it happen What We Offer: • Base Salary of $150,000 – 180,000.00 DOE, plus bonus • Demo and monthly fuel assistance, amount to be discussed upon offer • Cell phone reimbursement stipend • $2500 in relocation reimbursement for well qualified candidates • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage • Life and Disability Coverage • 401K • Paid Time Off/ Sick Time • Yearly allotment for professional development training and certifications Why San Diego?
