AVP Software Engineer Tech Lead

Title:AVP (lead) OR VP (mgr.) level Software Engineer Location:Austin, TX - 3x a week Duration:Fulltime Need for Role: • Bringing in AI for API validation and testing • Need AI leadership and architect side • Modernize architecture while moving to AI • Migrating old .net & sql APIs onto AWS • Upgraded to modern cloud based AI • Come in and drive hands on experience • Really enthusiastic to drive testing to be completely autonomous Tech Stack: • AWS bed rock services • Kendra- bed rock • Co pilot • Strong hands on experience with python for back /front end experience Day to day: Leadership: • Not leading people per say (3-4 people on team) • Represent team to stakeholders- dev, devops, SRE, etc. • Work done properly Technology side: • Mostly hands on - not just architecture or people manager • Able to change design but also someone completely hands-on • Extensive knowledge on API modernization • API testing in and out- validating APIs before they are pushed out • Migration based projects • Knowledge on A I- bringing AI to validate API a lot faster and more efficiently • Building a platform with genAI capabilities • Documentation with AI • Capture code coverage • Key is API knowledge • GenAI knowledge with AWS services (especially bedrock) • Project is very fast paced- not build models but build a new solution with existing AI models • Prompt engineering • Vectorize AI • Knowledge bases for models Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Austin, TX 78723
