AWS or Azure Cloud Architect

Job Description

Join ARHS Spikeseed (Advanced AWS and Gold Azure partner) as an AWS or Azure Cloud Architect (m/f) and be the visionary behind our cloud solutions. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and optimizing cloud solutions that drive business excellence of our clients.

Role & Responsibilities

• Architecture, design and prototyping of information systems hosted on the cloud
• Audit and review of existing architectures while actively challenging your peers
• Design of re-usable architecture blueprints and building blocks
• Production of software architecture documentation
• Participation in technical working groups/teams, progress meetings and meetings with the customer
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
• Contribute to the Arηs Spikeseed Cloud Center of Excellence
• Participate actively in our thought leadership initiatives in form of blog posts or events
• Execution of Proof-of-Concepts and support of Pre-Sales activities such as writing of commercial proposals

Your Profile

• University degree in IT
• 3+ years of working experience as Cloud Architect with Amazon Web Services or Azure
• The right person is highly technical and analytical
• Strong knowledge of major AWS or Azure services
• DevSecOps experience
• Understanding of networking principles (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP)
• Experienced working with RESTfull APIs and microservices, web services
• Experienced with Infrastructure as a Code tools
• DBMS knowledge
• Knowledge of resilient and traceable distributed systems
• Knowledge of applications design is advantage
• Knowledge of Application Performance Management is advantage
• Very good knowledge of at least one strongly typed object-oriented language is advantage
• Fluency in English; French is an asset
• Ability to work in a team and act as Leader/Supervisor
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on large project
• Having exceptional customer focus
