What You'll Get to Do:

We are looking for an Azure Architect to lead all phases of development, design, modernization, and migration in support of a government multi-cloud environment with 30+ customer tenants and growing. Aside from technical qualifications, application should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

The applicant must have engineering lead experience and extensive Azure knowledge and experience with integration, system analysis or programming experience, including developing Azure systems requirements and design specification. A passion for performance, strong desire for quality conformance, and attention to detail are prerequisites for this position.

More About the Role:

• Establish and maintain a well-informed cloud strategy and oversee the adaption process.
• Regularly assess cloud applications, hardware, and software.
• Foster and organize cloud systems.
• Work closely with IT security to monitor the applicable and responsible cloud privacy settings.
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application migrations into the cloud.
• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
• Coordinates and performs logical and physical systems designs.
• Reviews and prepares system documents and specifications.
• Be prepared to provide sound advice as to prioritizing projects or tasks and when to delay.
• Enforce quality standards for engineered solutions and promote continuous improvement.
• Cross functional communication.
• Change and Configuration Management best practices.
• Modern business methods and performance measurement techniques.
• Provides technical direction to personnel performing systems analysis and system/subsystem development tasks.

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
    • Other Certificates supporting cloud technologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
• 3-5+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets.
• Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.

• Able to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)
