Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer

Hiring Immediately! Contract to Perm. 3-6 month 1099 contract with client option of FTE conversion! We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer for a small company client based out of lower Manhattan. Your primary role will be managing and maintaining virtual and Cloud server infrastructure (OCI/Azure), which includes developing and maintaining a consistent, flexible, and reliable environment. Your role will facilitate project delivery, agility, and operational efficiency and work with Development team. In addition to day-to-day operational support, you’ll handle new system delivery, change requests, proactive availability and performance monitoring, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and the resolution of system issues, including application deployments. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in deploying software, maintaining system infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operations within our development environment. **Responsibilities:** • I • Design, implement, and maintaincloud infrastructureusing Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud (OCI). • Develop and manageCI/CD pipelinesto automate build, test, and deployment processes. • Implement and maintaininfrastructure as code (IaC)with tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimizecloud infrastructure and servicesfor performance, availability, and cost efficiency. • Ensurecloud security best practicesincluding identity and access management, encryption, and compliance. • Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and QA teams to enable smooth application deployments. • Implementobservability solutions(logging, monitoring, and alerting) using tools such as Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics. • Participate inincident response and root cause analysisfor production issues. • Drive continuous improvement incloud operations, automation, and DevOps practices.
