About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactiveBack Office Customer Support Specialistto join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer support tickets, and ensuring issues are resolved promptly and that resolutions are communicated clearly to franchise customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage customer support tickets from intake through resolution, providing timely updates at each step.
• Investigate ticket issues to determine root causes and ensure long term solutions are implemented.
• Identify recurring issues and patterns, escalating findings to leadership for process improvement.
• Use Excel pivot tables to organize and report data weekly to supervisors, highlighting ticket trends and areas of concern.
• Escalate problems to management as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate professionally with franchise customers.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to resolve customer issues and support cross-functional needs.
• Adapt quickly to changing business needs, approaching challenges with flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Assist with invoicing, receiving, and other distribution center tasks as assigned.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate ticket records for reference and reporting.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to manage high volumes of tickets without compromising quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution center.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a back-office, distribution, or customer service support role.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/PO systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Excel, including pivot tables.
• Experience working with ERP systems required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to recognize trends and recommend solutions.
• Comfortable collaborating across departments and working in a dynamic environment.
• Customer-first attitude with a focus on providing timely and effective support.
Preferred Skills
• Experience in distribution, logistics, or franchise operations.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems or help desk software.
Physical Demands
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
