Job Description

What you will do:

Mudah.my is undergoing a major technical platform restructuring to use the latest and best technology the open source community has to offer. As a Backend Developer in our team, you will be:

• Developing containerized Go based application deployable in a Kubernetes system.
• Creating applications in a service oriented architecture as well as event driven microservice architecture.
• Working in an Agile-Scrum environment.
• Involved in the various phases of SDLC.
• Doing peer code review.
• Contributing to or creating new open source projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT / Engineering related courses OR more than 1 year of working experience in programming related job(s) OR multiple programming related freelance projects portfolio OR a certified professional with multiple online programming related courses.
• Involvement in tech communities or events like Hackathons and software engineering related Clubs are highly added advantages.
• Existing working knowledge in Golang is a highly added advantage.
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.

Additional Information

• Familiar with GIT source control, working in command line (particularly Linux/Shell command) and familiar with SQL commands.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Understanding of Unit Test Concept.
• Ability to do self-learning and able to independently research for solutions to technical problems.
