Backend Team Lead - Splint Invest team

We at Holycode are currently looking for an experienced Backend Team Lead to join our team, Splint Invest. 

Splint Invest is an ambitious FinTech mobile app that leverages technology to empower our users’ financial journeys. Our ecosystem includes websites, mobile applications, web servers and multiple third-party integrations, each contributing to a seamless and secure user experience as well as allowing us to make data-driven marketing and business decisions.

Challenging things you’ll work on:

• Lead and mentor a team of backend developers and work closely with other team members on further developing the FinTech mobile app
• Lead the solution discovery and architecture development together with the full software engineering team
• Various integrations with 3rd parties such as payment providers, EMI provider, KYC provider etc.
• Do code reviews, support the software development team during implementation with an active contribution to code if required and ensure unified development standards/lead or participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and risk analysis
• Provide guidance, support and professional development opportunities to team members
• Our Tech Stack: Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Gitlab, Sentry, Jira, AWS Fargate 

Your contribution to the team:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field
• 6+ years’ working experience as a professional software developer
• Broad technical understanding and hands-on knowledge in Python / Django
• 2+ years of experience in managing a team with a proven track record of mentoring and coaching team members
• Willingness to work flexibly, in an interdisciplinary and international environment
• Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented work style with a structured, independent approach to work and focus on getting things done
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stress-resistant, even in fast-paced and busy situations
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools
• Fluency in English
