- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
- Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays and special events. This business operates from Tuesday to Friday, 6:00pm-11:30pm and Saturday, 6:00pm-12:30am (work shifts will begin at 4:30pm).
- Medical Examination is required. Work involves continual standing; must be able to lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- This position is eligible to receive gratuities (tips) based on the type of event(s) and performance.
Qualifications
2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
3. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
4. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

Skill and Knowledge: Skill in mixing drinks using alcoholic beverages, beer and soda. Applies arithmetic in calculating bills and making change. Ability to recognize intoxicated and unruly patrons.

Note: Candidates with Special Qualifying Skills and Experience may be brought in higher than the Step 1 rate of pay, determined by the Hiring Manager.

PCS Costs
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
- This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
- All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
