Job Title: Utility Technician / Prep Specialist Company: MR LLC Location: NY/NJ Area Job Type: Full-Time About Us: MR LLC is a specialized, family-owned bathtub refinishing company serving hotels and residential clients across the New York / New Jersey area. You’ll start by supporting master refinishers at MR, learning the trade from the ground up. But if you show initiative, craftsmanship, and pride in the work, there’s a clear path to grow into a Technician or Project manager role as we scale. What You’ll Do: • Assist lead technicians with prep work: caulk removal, masking, light sanding, cleanup • Drive to and from job sites, hotels, or suppliers (company vehicle may be provided) • Maintain tools, supplies, and work trucks in clean and organized condition • Mix materials under guidance and manage on-site logistics • Communicate professionally with hotel staff or property managers when needed • Shadow skilled refinishers and begin training toward technician-level mastery Who We’re Looking For: • Reliable, punctual, and hungry to learn • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Comfortable with physical work—lifting, bending, standing • Detail-oriented with a sense of pride in presentation and process • Prior experience in trades, painting, or renovation is helpful but not required • A long-term mindset—this isn’t for someone just looking for a paycheck Why Join Us Now: • Be part of a small, skilled family team—treated with respect, not like a number • Learn a specialized trade from true masters with decades of experience • Competitive pay, full-time hours, and room to grow • You’ll help us build something bigger—our future elite team of refinishing experts Note: This role begins under MR LLC.
