BDC Customer Service Agent

Key responsibilities of an automotive BDC agent include: • Handling inbound calls and online leads:Answering phone calls and responding to online inquiries from potential customers interested in purchasing a vehicle. • Lead qualification:Assessing the needs and interest level of each lead to determine if they are qualified to be transferred to the sales team. • Appointment scheduling:Coordinating and scheduling appointments with the sales team based on qualified leads. • Product knowledge:Staying updated on current vehicle models, features, pricing, and promotions to accurately answer customer questions. • Customer relationship building:Establishing positive rapport with potential customers through friendly and professional communication. • CRM management:Utilizing the dealership's customer relationship management (CRM) system to track customer interactions, follow-up activities, and manage lead pipeline. • Follow-up communication:Reaching out to leads who did not schedule an appointment to encourage them to return and continue the buying process.
