BE/BC Urologist Position Available in Central California

Urology Associates of the Central Coast is a Urology practice based in San Luis Obispo that provides comprehensive urology services to the Central Coast, covering northern Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. We are a physician-owned and operated practice that was founded 40 years ago. The central coast is approximately 90 miles north of Santa Barbara with a southern California climate without the traffic, high cost of living, and congestion of the state's more populated areas.

We are seeking candidates to join our growing practice comprised of seven physicians and three physician assistants. Our philosophy is to provide contemporary urologic care to our community while remaining an independent practice and achieving an amicable work/life balance. The subspecialties represented in our group include robotic oncology, female pelvic medicine, and male reconstructive urology. Ideal candidates would practice general urology, but sub-specialization is also welcome.

Physicians in our group cover the spectrum of early to late careers and enjoy raising families, cycling, hiking, surfing, and year-round access to outdoor activities afforded by living on the central coast. Our practice infrastructure allows physicians to focus on practicing medicine while our administrative team runs our business and clinic operations efficiently.

• Surgical and inpatient services are provided through 3 local health systems (Common Spirit/dignity health, Tenet Health, and Lompoc Valley Medical Center). DaVinci SI robots are available in each health system.

• 1:7 weekend call currently. Weekday Call are distributed evenly amongst physicians in three different call pools to minimize weekday call commitments.

Salary: $425,000

Requirements:

• MD/DO Degree Required
• ABU Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician
• Possess or be able to obtain a full medical license in California
