We are seeking a results-driven and visionary BI & Data Engineering Team Lead to lead our efforts in building scalable data solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making, and driving innovation across the organization. This role requires a dynamic individual who can bridge the gap between business strategy and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Alignment
- Partner with business leaders to translate challenges into data strategies and insights.
- Develop and manage KPI frameworks aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize impactful analytics initiatives.
Technical Leadership
- Design and implement scalable data architectures and BI platforms.
- Integrate cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Oversee robust ETL/ELT workflows using tools like dbt or Airflow.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, quality, and security.
Team Development
- Manage and mentor a high-performing analytics engineering team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for team projects.
Innovation and Modernization
- Implement cutting-edge tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and self-service analytics platforms.
- Leverage automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making.
- Stay ahead of trends in data analytics and BI methodologies.
Requirements
Here's what we need from you:
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and big data technologies (e.g., Data bricks, Snowflake, Spark).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Skilled in Python or R for analytics and automation, and data orchestration tools like dbt or Airflow.
Business Acumen
- Deep understanding of business processes in sales, marketing, and finance.
- Ability to connect data insights to actionable strategies.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Proven ability to mentor talent and foster a high-performance environment.
- Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.
- Effective in aligning priorities across departments and delivering complex initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in BI or analytics roles, with 3+ years in leadership.
