The role you'll contribute:

The BI Solution Developer - Senior will be responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architectural solutions. This person will work closely with our clients and must demonstrate individual functional and professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest caliber to ensure client satisfaction. This person will also apply project management concepts to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies. Under the direction of the BI Manager Clinical Operations Analytics this person will be mainly responsible for leading and mentoring the developers, providing support where needed and lead the technical implementation of current and future BI solutions.

The ideal candidate should have Strong foundation of software development principles and the ability to architect custom hybrid applications. Must be proficient in Enterprise BI tools such as OBIEE, Qlik, Web technologies, Javascript, UX, opensource visualization libraries, bigdata/database architecture, data modeling, DataMart, data analysis, software development methodologies. He or she must be an external learner and passionate about all aspects of BI and have an innate desire to generate high quality work products.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Create QlikView applications from enterprise data warehouse

• Create QlikView data models and interactive visualizations

• Create static reports using QlikView NPrinting tool

• Take ownership of projects assigned and support other developers with tasks to complete

• Assist team members with project sponsors and ensuring timely deliverables

• Build the ETL automation process for QlikView applications with the help of the B.I. Solutions Administrator

• Design and configure the QlikView applications front-end calculations (i.e. set analysis, aggregations, etc.) as per business requirements

• Responsible for interpreting business needs of stakeholders and develop analytical solutions

• Coordinate with other developers on the team to build and share knowledge, ensuring consistent delivery of information

• Collaborate with application analysts and report/dashboard end users to analyze, provides specifications, and document projects in SharePoint

• Document and tests work products and c onducts data quality checks on a regular basis

• Work in partnership with the Data Warehouse team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes

• Be familiar with diverse data collection, ETL, and database technologies

• Adhere to corporate standards and best practices

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• QlikView Design and Developer experience

• Experience working with any BI tool (QlikView, Tableau, PowerBI, OAS, etc.)

• Intermediate working knowledge of SQL and ETL automations

• Knowledge of HTML

• Troubleshoot scripting logic when issues arise

• Working with clinical healthcare data

• Working knowledge of clinical processes and terminology

• Experience with Clinical Analytics, Medical Informatics and/or Quality Measures

• Self-motivated, independent and goal-oriented, a fast learner with good communication skills.

• Independent in debugging issues regarding front end and data modeling.

• Independent in maintaining and working on new phases for your applications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

• Able to script in SQL/PL SQL SELECT

• Html, D3 and JET

• CMS Programs and Initiatives

• EPIC and/or Big Data experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences (Technology focus) or any other similar fields

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT

• Highly competent in BI tools like OAC, Qlik, Alteryx, or Business Objects to provide business intelligence solutions and reports to provide simple and rapid access to KPIs
