BI Reporting Analyst (Collections)

Piper Companies is seeking aBusiness Intelligence Reporting Analystto join a premier financial services organization based inSan Antonio, TX. TheBusiness Intelligence Reporting Analystwill be a key contributor on the collections analytics team, supporting enterprise-level recovery strategy through data-driven insights.This position is hybrid in San Antonio, TX! Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst include: • Analyze large volumes of collections and recovery data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. • Create, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards usingExcel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI. • Collaborate with collections, credit risk, and operations teams to develop and evaluate strategies aimed at improving debt recovery. • Draw actionable conclusions from data analysis to support process optimization and cost reduction. • Identify opportunities for segmentation and personalization of collections strategies. • Support audit and compliance teams by providing relevant data and documentation. • Create written reports, presentations, and visuals that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations. • Collaborate with BI and data science teams across departments to pursue shared goals and deepen understanding. Qualifications for the Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst include: • 2+ years of experience in a data warehouse environment. • Experience in a Collections Environment (Delinquency, Roll Rates, Charge off, etc.) • Understanding of FDCPA, TCPA, GLBA, CFPB • Advanced proficiency in SQL and BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and visualization. • Understanding of credit risk, customer segmentation, and financial KPIs. • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FDCPA and CFPB. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Compensation for the Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst includes: • Salary:$80,000 – $100,000 • Comprehensive Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays This job opens for applications on7/23/2025.
