Bilingual Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) Sales Assistant Trainee

Quaker Valley Foods, a refrigerated food distributor located in Northeast Philadelphia is looking for a Bilingual Sales Assistant, who has energy and personality to support a large, multi-cultural sales and buying team. Recent College Graduates are encouraged to apply. WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Support our sales, marketing and customer service functions. • Receive and process customer orders on a daily basis in support of the sales team. • Respond to customer phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous and concise manner. • Answer customer questions and assist in problem resolution. • Enter customer orders with accuracy and assure customer satisfaction. • Assist the credit department in account set-up, customer billing, returns and collection issues. • Assist the transportation department with late orders and delivery issues. • Prepare and circulate daily and weekly reports as needed. • Update and maintain a supply of sales forms as needed.Requirements: YOU HAVE: • Proficiency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese. • Ability to effectively communicate over the phone. • Ability to communicate well at all levels. • Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple tasks simultaneously. • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage productivity. YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE: • High School Diploma. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of employees. • Have the ability to work towards a personal "best in class" standard.
