Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, team-oriented HR Generalist to represent our growing organization. The ideal team member is an HR Generalist who enjoys working with employees and will help take our growth to the next level. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in ADP or equivalent HR Payroll system. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

This role will be at our office located in East Orlando. Typical office hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and conducts new hire orientation or onboarding activities as well as training of the leadership team.
  • Conduct investigation as need it.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently by front-line supervisors and managers.
  • Drive the Talent Acquisition process and establish recruiting requirements by meeting with managers to discuss departmental needs and studying the organization's strategic plans and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supervisors, managers, and employees.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to department leaders related to employee performance management and individual career growth and succession planning.
  • Establish priorities and creative avenues to attract and recruit the best talent.
  • Provide ideas for maintaining a healthy pipeline of talent.
  • Manage applicant tracking system.
  • Research and serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.
  • Review employment applications and prescreen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills to match candidates with job requirements.
  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, make hiring recommendations when appropriate, and coordinate interviews with managers.
  • Work with external resources such as staffing agencies and community partners as necessary
  • Assist as needed with pre-employment processing, such as applicant testing, background checks, etc.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Provide back backup for other HR team members in areas such as Employee Relations, Engagement, Payroll, Benefits, Training, etc.
  • Performs other HR specific responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
  • Proficiency in ADP system.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities.
  • Must exhibit excellent communication written and verbal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing or construction environment required a plus.
  • Experience managing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Preferred:

  • PHR or SHRM certification
  • Experience recruiting for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience using HRIS/Payroll system.
