Job Purpose: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.


Duties and Responsabilities

  • Provide assistance to users who have a problem using a product or service, whether this is the hardware or software of a computer on an Internet server, peripherals, electronic items, machinery, or any other device or device.
  • Installation, configuration and update of hardware and software.
  • Install and configure the technology to be used in the company, that is, the equipment, operating systems, programs and applications.
  • Implement and guide in the execution of new applications or operating systems.
  • Learn, evaluate and install the company's own software: Viacash, Viacheck, Viasales, Money Orders, Topup-Billpay and Viatab among others.
  • Training of Company products and services.

Qualifications


  • Advanced knowledge in computers and computer systems:
  • To be able to understand the way in which the pieces of equipment work together.
  • Understand the basics regarding programming and system functions.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills:
  • Have a logical and analytical approach in solving problems.
  • Pay attention to the details.
  • Find solutions applying creative and innovative thinking.
  • Communication skills:
  • Pay attention to the requirements of people with limited technical knowledge.
  • To have touch when communicating with clients in person or by telephone.
  • Being able to explain the inconveniences to colleagues or clients in a clear and concise way, using non-technical language.
  • Teamwork:
  • To be able to help their co-workers when they need it.
  • Work together with co-workers.
  • Organization and effective time management:
  • Be in the ability to work under pressure.
  • Assess circumstances in a timely manner.
  • Meet the delivery times.
