Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and promoting their development. This role is essential in fostering a love for learning and assisting in the implementation of effective teaching strategies.
Duties
• Lead teachers in developing and implementing engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment and addressing behavioral issues as they arise.
• Facilitate early childhood education activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Provide physical education activities that encourage physical fitness and motor skill development.
• Ensure child welfare by monitoring student interactions and providing guidance to promote healthy relationships among peers.
• Assist with math-related activities to enhance students' numeracy skills through hands-on learning experiences.
• Participate in early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their learning journey.
• Offer tutoring support to individual students or small groups to reinforce concepts taught in class.
• Provide toddler care as necessary, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for younger children.
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to create a supportive community focused on child development.
Requirements
• Degree in ECE Education.
• A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Experience with curriculum development and classroom management techniques.
• Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention strategies is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Bilingual in Spanish
• A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development.
• Previous experience in childcare or tutoring is an advantage.
