Primary Responsibilities

• Lead BIM model production as for mechanical and water related Process Piping facility projects.
• Lead AutoCAD and Revit standards implementation for projects.
• Design and model process equipment and perform elementary process design of piping systems for utility, industrial, and institutional power and energy facilities using Revit.
• Prepare engineering drawings for piping systems, equipment arrangements, piping isometrics, and other detailed drawings required for construction under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Coordinate models with other project disciplines.
• Create and update Navisworks files.
• Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong software skills in Revit, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
• 5+ years experience as a mechanical designer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
• Experience and familiarity with: - Database familiarity, Bentley Projectwise.
• Revit Family creation.
• BIM 360 and other BIM Coordination platforms.
• Project renderings.
• Clash detection.
• Bluebeam
• Laser Scanning and point clouds
