Bookkeeper

Sharfi Holdings, Inc. is looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team in our Jensen Beach office.

Bookkeeper duties and responsibilities:

• Managing Financial Transactions: Recording and categorizing day-to-day financial transactions, such as accounts payable (bills, invoices), accounts receivable (payments, invoices), and general journal entries, using accounting software.
• Reconciling bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
• Record-keeping: Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Experience:

• Candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and various accounting software.
• Competency and technical skill sets include (but are not limited to) strong knowledge of accounting principles and standard accounting processes for recording a company’s business transactions into a general ledger, account reconciliations and work paper preparation, prepare and post journal entries and ability to adapt work as required by level of engagement
• Minimum of two years of prior bookkeeping experience and an accounting degree preferred
