Your Responsibilities in Detail

We are hiring a passionate and competent bookkeeper to support the Centre of Excellence team of Finance with group level accounting & finance responsibilities, based in Ortigas city, Philippines. In detail, this includes the following tasks:

• Provide support on month-end closing, accounting transactions, daily accounting operation, reconciliation on accounting ledgers, and financial analytical reports
  • In charge of bookkeeping includes recording, categorizing transactions and reconciliations
  • Support on bank statement uploads, matching and reconciliations with high volume data for different entities in different currencies with FX impact
  • Support on sales invoices and settlement transactions on different online marketplaces
  • Support on general ledger accounting transaction including but not limited to Fixed Asset, Amortization, Accruals for both direct and indirect costs, inter-company trade and transfer transactions, etc.
  • Liaise with internal business partners for weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist in the assigned ad hoc projects

Your Background

To join our team, you bring along 

• Degree holder in Accountancy or equivalent
• Good understanding of accounting concepts with 3 years or above relevant experience
• Ability to produce accurate and informative data and self-organizing with large volume of data
• Ability to prioritize on time management regardless of work location and time zone
• Proficiency in online virtual meetings tool and cloud-based office tools
• Proficiency in various financial ERP systems (NetSuite) and strong skills in Excel
• Excellence professional communication skills in English fluency
• Adaptive to change and challenges with a positive can-do attitude
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work proactively, independently, and efficiently
