Bottle Shop Sales Associate

Job Type:Part-time Salary:$21.00 - 22.00 per hour + tips Expected hours:20 per week Uncle Ike's Bottle Shopis looking for aPart-Time Sales Associateto join our squad! If you are an energetic "people-person" looking to be rewarded for your customer service, then this is the job for you. Experience in Liquor Sales isn't a requirement to work here - all you need is a positive attitude and the desire to meet new people while having a great time selling Liquor and other products! At Uncle Ike's we are guided by the following principles: • Exceptional customer service for every guest • Positive employee environment with opportunity to grow • Giving back to surrounding communities • Operating business with honesty and integrity Essential Functions • Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and assist them in finding the best products • Ring up purchases at your register and send customers on their way with a smile • Present yourself and your station in a pleasing and inviting manner • Assist with product placement or store presentation for the best possible customer experience • Assisting with stocking and cleaning • Educate customers by presenting product and answering questions • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standards • Assist with product distribution and displays when asked • Assist with any inventory needs • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance throughout shift • Establish good working relationship with other team members. • Foster positive communications and relationships with employees and vendors. • Adhere to company policies and procedures. • Actively participate in meetings as requested. • Work at least 2-3 days/week, including weekends and holidays • Other duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications: • Prior retail or bartending experience is a plus • Must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and be flexible (able to go with the flow - where you are needed the most) • Friendly and professional demeanor • Strong collaborator when working with a team, but also a self-starter when working alone • Must be at least 21 years of age Physical Requirements • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting. • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds. • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to work at computer or desk area for extended periods of time. • Must be able to use a computer.
