Location: We are seeking an experiencedKitchen Expeditorfor theLas Vegas Convention Center.
The Las Vegas Convention Center is one of the busiest facilities in the world - a 4.6 million-square-foot facility located within a short distance of approximately 150,000 guest rooms. Operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the center is well known among industry professionals for its versatility. In addition to approximately 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space, 225 meeting rooms (more than 390,000 square feet) handle seating capacities ranging from 20 to 2,500.
Principal Function:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of food preparation and delivery
- Communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure timely and accurate service
- Expedite food orders to ensure they are prepared and delivered in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Asemble all Food items and builds by route.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
